In 2003, a$18,000.00 grant from the Kentucky Legislature was awarded to LCCECC to improve the quality of child care to Letcher County children. Click here for the provisions of the grant in Microsoft Word format.

Puppet kit available for loan.

Part of the grant money was utilized to purchase educational resources to aid teachers and child providers in creating educational environment for children. These materials are housed at the Harry m. Caudill Memorial Library.
