Welcome to the Letcher County Public Library District! With four branches located in Blackey, Fleming Neon, Jenkins, and the Harry M. Caudill Memorial Library in Whitesburg, we proudly serve the entire Letcher County community. Our Outreach Van extends our services even further, bringing the library to those unable to visit us in person.
At each location, you’ll find welcoming spaces, diverse collections, and programs designed to spark curiosity and foster a love of learning for all ages. It is the mission of the Letcher County Public Library District to provide, to all of Letcher County, materials that aid the pursuit of education and lifelong learning.
